David Reagan, Captain

At the heart of every great brand is a big idea. At the heart of every great agency is a big thinker. In his role as captain of the agency, David is the director of brand strategy, and has ultimate responsibility for client success. Through his passion for integrated communications, Red Rocket Studios deploys a collaborative approach to the balancing of agency services that includes brand development, strategy, advertising, and digital and social marketing.

David is enjoying an amazing career. Starting with Merkel-Schleicher Graphic Communications, helping build Orlando’s most technically advanced independent agency; to founding Red Rocket Studios.

The decision to move to open his own agency was driven by family values and an entrepreneurial spirit. Red Rocket quickly gained national recognition, and a list of impressive accounts. David has left his mark on Central Florida, and has guided the agency into a national creative force.

His passion for the marriage of strategy and creativity has been the benchmark of work for clients including; Nautique/Correct Craft, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex; Oakwood Smokehouse and Grill; Disney’s Wide World of Sports; Gaylord Palms Resort, Mears Transportation, Siemens Medical and Siemens Energy, and the Orlando Magic. By trade he is a strategist, but his true passion (after family and football) is creativity.

John E. Hubbard Jr., Launch Director

John began his professional career at Walt Disney and Disney Event Productions, producing all conventions and special events at the resort properties. In 1996 John founded Elite Entertainment of Central Florida, Inc. and soon began contracting more talent on Disney property than any other Talent Agency in Orlando.

In 2001 John formed Elite Business Productions, Inc. with Jeff Campese. Specializing in creative content and production for corporate meetings, events, conventions and product launches; Elite garnered 9 Stevies from the American Business Awards for outstanding convention production work. Elite’s client list consists of: Siemens Medical, Siemens Energy, Mercury Marine, Association of Financial Professionals and Nintendo.

In order to deliver expanded capabilities for his clients, John became a partner at Red Rocket Studios. Since 2008, John’s enthusiasm, and operational  skills have elevated Red Rocket Studios to an international level with work produced for clients such as Siemens Energy, where John is currently managing the Siemens Smart Grid Road Show as it travels from City to City in North America..

John graduated from Boston University with a Degree in Music with a minor in Business Administration.

Jeff Campese, Trajectory Specialist

Jeff began his career with the Walt Disney Co. in the Entertainment division and eventually moved from performing to producing and finally, to Senior Sales Manager for Disney Event Productions, where he managed Disney’s national corporate alliance accounts.

His high profile business relationships and production knowledge eventually led Jeff to co-found Elite Business Productions with fellow Disney team member, John Hubbard. Based in Orlando, Elite produces corporate business meetings and media for such name companies as Siemens Medical, Siemens Energy, Mercury Marine, EB Games, and Nintendo.

In order to expand his marketing and branding capabilities for his clients, Jeff partnered with Red Rocket Studios in 2008.

Jeff attended the University of Central Florida and received a BS in Business management from the University of Phoenix.

Tim Lauterbach, Flight Director

Tim Lauterbach brings over 25 years of strategic thinking and is considered one of the industry’s most forward thinking and innovative Event Producers. Blending his knowledge, experience and technical background he has produced unique events and environments for affluent families, as well as respected companies in the financial services, technology leaders and major manufacturers. From 1990 to 2010 Tim produced events at Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Resorts and around the world for The Walt Disney Company with audiences ranging from 100 to 20,000 people. From 2010 to 2014 Tim resided as Executive Producer for the start up company The Launch Group having produced many unique and one of a kind corporate meetings and events. His stellar record in producing events that far exceed client expectations makes Tim a perfect fit as Executive Producer with Red Rocket Studios. Balancing creativity, budget, and the expectations of the audience is one of his many strengths. He is driven by the passion to create new and memorable experiences that resonate with target audiences while challenging himself to go above and beyond highest expectations of his clients.

Alan Ivester Spach, Senior Design Engineer

An accomplished Art Director and Illustrator, Alan’s specialty in web design and Internet media is complemented by his strong print and design skills. Alan‘s creative problem solving and dynamic design, balanced with a strong eye in illustration and typography is an asset to Red Rocket projects.

Alan is fluent in web production and development, and manages all of Red Rocket Studios client sites, from server side hosting and troubleshooting, to search engine optimization and implementation. Alan is responsible for many of our viral marketing efforts and for staying up to date with the latest trends and industry developments.

Alan is a graduate of North Carolina State University’s College of Design. Alan’s work has been published internationally in numerous design annuals, and has been recognized by the American Advertising Federation and the AIGA.

Curtis Sponsler, Mad Scientist

Curtis Sponsler has designed and created 3D animation, motion graphics, and visual effects for television and cinema for over a half century. His interdisciplinary approach to design and production ensures his client receive works that exceed expectations. Curtis’ diverse experience and production capacity has included editing (from 1” to non-linear), VFX supervision and compositing, art direction and design, writing and storyboarding, through adding the finishing touches to every production. In 1994 Curtis founded AniMill, a boutique animation and design company until 2012 when he accepted the Creative Director position at Technomedia Services company. He held that position until 2014 when he accepted the current position of Director of Animation at Red Rocket Studios.

He has been the recipient of myriad peer-reviewed and distinguished awards: Emmy, Tellys, Addys, among many others. His clients span from coast-to-coast, and across international waters: Walt Disney Entertainment, Resorts, and Imagineering; Universal Studios theme parks and theatrical production, Lockheed Martin, NBC, ABC, and various TV station affiliates and corporate productions.

Curtis has mentored and inspired a large pool of talented artists and designer through his internships and other advisory roles. He is a published author of an After Effects training book, and is currently revising two children’s books. Curtis has presented seminars to SIGGRAPH attendees. He also volunteers as the Assistant Regional Advisor for the international organization for children’s book advocacy and writing: SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators), Florida chapter, where he helps organize the statewide conferences and presents and/or supervises workshops on the writing process and industry trends.
